Q: “What is a fixation agent?”
Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment.
Q: “Why does my shirt have a vinegar smell?”
When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don't worry, that's not unusual - in an effort to give you the best possible print, it's from a fixation agent applied during the printing process. It's not permanent and will go away after one standard wash.
Q: "Are all products shipped together?"
We make an effort to ship all products together but there are some items that may be shipped separately. These items include headwear such as hats, beanies, visors. Please see FAQ on Multiple Shipments.
Q: "Do you deliver outside of the United States?"
Yes, we do! Although, we can’t ship to certain countries because of legal restrictions or shipping carrier limitations.
Q: "When will my order arrive?"
Our average order fulfillment takes 2–7 business days. We consider the current order volume and our fulfillment capacity when calculating our estimated fulfillment time. Similarly, we calculate estimated shipping time according to our historical shipping data for deliveries to your area or selling region.
Q: "How long does it take to ship my purchase?"

Q: "Can I exchange an item?"
Unfortunately, we do not offer exchanges at this time. If you'd like your purchase as soon as possible you can return the unwanted item and repurchase the new item. Please contact us if you need any guidance with this option.
Q: "Can I return an item that was gifted?"
Returns can only be created by the original purchaser. Please have the purchaser create a return for the original item and re-purchase the replacement.
Q: "Can I cancel an order?"
Our system is designed to process and ship orders as quickly as possible. After you have clicked "Place Your Order", you cannot cancel or modify.

Q: "How do I check the status of my return?"
You will be notified via email throughout your package journey and once your refund has been processed. Please note that all returns take 7-10 business days to complete from the day our facility receives it.

Q: “I have multiple shipments, why is this and what does this mean?”
If your order contains multiple items, they may be shipped separately. We ship from multiple locations to ensure you receive your items as fast as possible.

Q: “Am I charged sales tax?”
US Sales Tax
State laws require that we charge applicable sales tax on orders shipped to the following states:
Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Indiana, South Dakota Tennessee, Vermont, and Canada.
We do not charge sales tax on the purchase of Gift Certificates. However, items purchased with Gift Certificates will be taxed if shipped to the states mentioned above.
Q: “What is Paypal?”
PayPal is an alternate payment method available for making purchases on dcshoes.com. It enables any individual or business with an email address to securely send payments online. With a PayPal account, you can choose to pay with your credit card, debit card, bank account, or PayPal account balance for any purchase that you make. Your credit card and bank numbers are never seen by the seller or merchant. Plus, you're 100% protected against unauthorized payments sent from your account.
Q: “What payment methods are accepted?”
We accept Apple Pay, PayPal, Afterpay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. You may also use some prepaid gift cards as long as you have pre-registered them with your current address.
Q: “What is VAT?”
VAT stands for Value-Added-Tax. It's placed on each stage of the supply chain (eg. production, sale) for goods and services. VAT applies to orders that ship to a customer in one of the EU member states (based on “ship to” address).
VAT is charged for orders shipped to the EU from any Indulge Wear, LLC. location.
We calculate VAT with the following formula: (product price - discounts + shipping price + services) * VAT rate %.
Key differences between VAT and sales tax:
VAT is added to every step of the process for the manufacturer, distributor, and seller. Sales tax is only applied to the value of the product sold. VAT is calculated based on price, sales tax is calculated based on product price (only in some states based on your retail price) VAT applies to delivery charges. Some states also collect sales tax on shipping costs.
